Commands
: opens the command line. A name completes as you type it — press Tab to take
the suggestion — and so do the values a command accepts.
A bare number is a line to jump to: :42.

Options
:set reads and writes them all, the way an editor does:
• :set nu turns a toggle on, :set nonu turns it off, :set nu! inverts it
• :set colorscheme=latte assigns a value
• :set nu? reports one, :set on its own reports everything that left its
default
