Help
This site is an editor. The pane on the left is a file tree, the pane on the
right is the file you are reading, and everything happens through the keyboard
— or the mouse, which does the same things.
New to Vim? :Tutor walks you through the keys in five minutes.
Two keys are worth knowing before any other:
• ? lists what the pane you are in can do, right now, without leaving the page.
• : opens the command line at the bottom. :help brings you back here.
Everything below is read from the app itself, so it cannot fall behind what the
app does.
